A short drive away, an Ohio River factory is also keeping the game of marbles alive — as the last industrial manufacturer of marbles in the U.S.

Zack Harold started his career as a newspaper reporter, where he honed his abilities as a writer and discovered a passion for chronicling Appalachian culture.
