The Last Puppet Show dives into the unique world of West Virginia University’s endangered puppetry major, where a group of talented students fights to save their program with a puppet-powered performance of Hamlet. As creative arts programs are being axed across the country, these students use passion and puppets to make their case for the value of arts degrees. The film spotlights the real people impacted by these cuts, and proves that sometimes, the most unexpected heroes are made of felt and fur.
